Static Var Generator (SVG) is also known as a high-voltage dynamic reactive power compensation device and a static synchronous compensator, and it compensates for dynamic reactive power via a self-commutated power semiconductor bridge inverter. This generator is widely used and highly appreciated by our customers, for its unique features. Our Static Var Generator (SVG) employs a three-level high-speed inverter that responds to variations in reactive power by transferring corrective reactive power into the system. This is very effective and safe too.

SVG determines the reactive content of the load current, identifies the phase angle difference in real-time, and generates either leading or lagging current into the grid through external CTs. We provide SVG ratings starting with 30 KVAr.
